Lately, Workplace by Facebook has communicated that they are working towards safer integrations. They are reviewing the integrations from third-party developers to deem if they are safe or not, including Azure Active Directory.

Note: this information is only applicable to IT admins who have integrations hosted and operated by a third party developer in Workplace by Facebook.

Yesterday a customer of ours informed us that they had received an email from Facebook stating the following:

"Starting September 1, 2019, you should have received notifications on Workplace advising you that some integrations require your attention. If you take no action, some of these integrations will be disabled on October 1, 2019."

To acknowledge these changes, one has to go to the 'Admin Panel of Facebook > Integrations' and review each integration and opt-in to continue to use them. There you should find a checkbox, to use for acknowledging this information.

The information from Microsoft is that they are aware of these changes from Facebook. They are currently working together with the Workplace team to make sure that the integration gets approved.
