Meet the team: Stephen, Cloud Expert

We are pleased to announce that Stephen has joined the team as a Cloud Expert, and the Azure team is growing. It’s a delight to see the rapid adaption of Cloud services and managed solutions.

Stephen has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Minna, Niger State, Nigeria. His career in Cloud started in Nigeria after his National Youth Service. He had a peripheral understanding of cloud technology while in school, which made him consider using it as part of his implementation for his final year project.

For the past two years, Stephen has been working with Azure and moved between different teams, from Virtual Machine team to Developer Support team, Messaging and Cognitive service (Azure Search) and eventually another vertical in the Developer support team (Cloud services, ARM, Policy and APIM)

"I have learned a lot about Microsoft Azure and eager to continue learning. I have always wanted more than to sit behind a screen and help clients resolve Cloud issues. I wanted to perform cloud deployments, migrations, and help clients with implementing cloud solutions."

Why Ironstone?

"I found that Ironstone would give me that leverage to fulfill my desire. Also, the atmosphere in the process from the job application to the interview was good and relaxing. It gave me an idea of how amazing it would be working at Ironstone."

Stephen is now looking forward to working with Ironstone clients, perform Cloud migrations, and advise clients on resource governance and security. He is also looking forward to delivering cloud workshops and support clients on Azure DevOps, and further, develop his development and programming competence.
